🧲 METAL GUIDE 🧲
A living reference to the metals I work with
Metal is structure.
Metal is movement.
From ancient tools to modern infrastructure, metals shape how the world functions.
At Aboriginal Bling Blam, metal translates form, stability, conductivity, and natural beauty into wearable design.
Each material is chosen for how it responds in the hand and how it lives on the body.

A living reference to the metals I work with — chosen for integrity, response, and longevity.
Metals have been used for millennia to shape tools, structures, and adornment. They form the backbone of both ancient civilizations and modern infrastructure.
We live within a vast metal grid. Miles of copper wire move unseen through our homes, streets, and devices, carrying energy and connection across society. In much the same way, metal plays a vital role in our creative process — translating form, stability, conductivity, and natural beauty into wearable structure.
Aboriginal Bling Blam was founded on copper wire. It remains a core material in our work, valued for its responsiveness and expressive range. Over time, we expanded our use of metals to better serve the needs and preferences of our patrons. While many are drawn to copper for its energetic qualities, others seek metals that integrate seamlessly with existing collections and everyday wear.
Our approach balances tradition with practicality.
We work exclusively with quality materials, using solid round wire across a wide range of gauges. Both base and precious metals are selected for their durability, integrity, and compatibility with our techniques.
Metals used in Aboriginal Bling Blam include:
